I know, I know....

It's been a while since I blogged. Been a bit busy. Here's what's going on lately. Friday night George, my sister and brother-in-law and I went to First Friday and "Played downtown Augusta". Since it's the week of the Master's we picked up a golf scorecard and went to 14 of 18 businesses and guessed how many items were in the glass tees. Then we went to eat at 5 guys burgers nad fries. It was good. Hamburger was okay but the fries were out of this world. Trust me when you go to order only order a small cup. Because they put the cup in and then pour in a ton more fries.

Saturday I went to Washington, GA to see a GWTW exhibit. Met Herb Bridges again and bought his book. As well as met a couple of ladies that are huge fans too. Hopefully, will get to more GWTW events in the future. Came home and George and I drove over to New Ellenton, SC to eat bbq. He dropped me off at the lns and I hung out there for an hour or more. Came home and didn't do much of anything.

haven't stitched since 3/28 so I'm hoping to break that dry spell soon. I'm ready to be finished with this Just Nan I'm working on.

George is on vacation this week but still checking emails and making phone calls. He should know better but what can I say.....

This weekend I'm headed to Conyers to meet a new internet cross stitch buddy - Linda. We've been "chatting" across gmail for the past several weeks. Can't wait to meet her face to face! She's so much fun to talk too. The rest of the month will be busy.

Going to my sister's for Easter dinner, the next weekend to my brother's for a wedding, master's celabration for his son that's getting married in May. I don't think anything is planned for the end of the month yet. :) :)

MICHAEL'S HOME!!!!

Michael's in town until Thursday and will be spending the night with us tonight and tomorrow night!!! I so look forward to when he's home!!! He's such a neat kid. Not because he's mine but because he is.

Melanie's doing wonder with Aflac!!! I'm so proud of her!! She loves her job! Jeremy was at the office today with me and now I'm EXHAUSTED!!!!

Still have dinner to prepare for George, Michael, Brian and Joe. They're in town. We're having pasta with sauce, homemade Italian herb and French bread, stewed or steamed zucchini and squash, probably brownies with chocolate sauce and cool whip on top. Want some????

Hopefully, I'll get to stitch tonight. Didn't get to last night between cleaning and cooking.

What a Saturday....

Rain, rain, rain, rain, and more rain. I'm so thankful it's the weekend. Been a funky week this week. Not sure why I've had the mental attitude I've had. But I didn't have anything on my to do list this weekend but pick up bbq chicken dinner at 11 and church on Sunday.

Melanie, Jeremy and Brien are gone!! They've headed to Atlanta to Michaels. They'll be back Sunday. The house is quiet!!!

Didn't do anything today but nap. I'm about to go clean the kitchen and then hopefully sit and stitch!

Rain, rain, rain.....

It's only Thursday!!!

Didn't go to church last night. Meet George, Jeremy and Melanie at Waffle House for dinner. Boy! Can that Jeremy pack the food away. :)

Went home and just picked up and put away for a while. Felt good to get some things done. Need to get my laundry done but not enough laundry soap. Got to get to the store!

I did finally pick up Paula Vaughn's Love Letters print. I won it at a Pal's Convention many years ago. It's signed by her as well. I decided I'd hang it over the Love Note that George wrote to me about 2 1/2 years ago.

George had gone out to the flower garden and bought in a couple of flowers nad put them in a bowl. A day or two later I got up on a Saturday morning early to go to the bathroom and noticed there was the bowl with more flowers in it as well as a piece of paper with something written on it. I discovered he had gotten up earlier than I had and had written a beautiful note to me. Made me just cry. I decided I'd take it and have it framed. So there's what the two of them look like.





I'm waiting on the weekend. Have BBQ chicken tickets for Saturday, Melanie, Jeremy and Brien will be gone. They're headed to Michael's for a get together!!

It's Tuesday!!! Not sure what my mood is today. I should get off my franny and get busy here at work. :(:(

Nothing much going on these days for me. Did get some stitching done last night. I started to begin a new project but decided to get back to stitching Just Nan's Deck the Halls. Glad I did. I'm so ready to be finished with this one.

George and I were talking last night about buying a new house!! Our house is paid for and if he's going to continue to work might as well invest in something. We'd have Melanie and Jeremy move in and then maybe one day move in ourselves. Here's the link to what we're thinking about. http://www.thewhitesbuilding.com. So we'll have to see.

What's going on???

Life has been busy lately!! Jeremy's turned 1 on 3/20. Had a party for him on 3/14. Hard to believe he's getting so "old".

I've been stitching up a storm, of course. Got lots planned for this year. This is the year of Christmas stitching for me. So far so good. I do have 3 wedding goodies to make. 2 nieces and 1 nephew that's getting married.

But for the time being here's what I just finished stitching over the weekend. I'm not going to use Just Nan's Whimz It frames. But having it framed with wood. Will post when I get them back.
